This is a collection of handmade Victorian Charms most are 1850 to 1860 one the Griffin is 1870. The Victorian’s did have charm bracelets; I have had two over the 25 years I have collected. The period charm bracelets were bangles and only had a place for one charm. This bracelet is made up of eleven charms which were collect over many years! The bracelet’s charms are on a 7 1/8 inch 14 karat gold chain with all soldered links, plus the charm themselves are soldered on also onto the bracelet chain.
First Charm: 15 karat Rose gold handmade charm with a natural pearl of 3.75 mm and a natural hand cut single cut diamond. This is in pendent style. The size is 5/8 of an inch long.

Second Charm: This charm is in awith as you can see in a work of art to create this by hand. It is 15 karat yellow gold and set with a hand cut .03 points of a single cut diamond. The charm is 5/8 of an inch long.
Third Charm: This is a 15 karat Gold charm with two hand cut and hand set Pink Sapphires of 10 points each and two hand cut and hand set Blue Sapphires of 10 points each. The charm is colorful and is ¼ of an inch long.
This forth charm is handmade yellow gold the setting contains four natural Black Seed Pearls which are 2.5 mm each and in the center a natural white seed pearl that is 1.75 mm. The charm is 5/8th of an inch long.
The fifth charm is set with a square cut natural blue Sapphire of the “Corn Flower” color which was the favorite of the Victorians. The Sapphire which is .86 point of a carat is set in 15 karat yellow gold handmade mounting; the charm is also set with a natural white pearl. The charm is 7/8th of an inch long.
The sixth charm is a horseshoe design with a bird the horseshoe is set with 13 diamonds which are natural and single cut. The bird has a natural hand cut Ruby which is set in its beak. Two natural seed pearls are set in the birds wings.
The seventh Charm is a Griffin made of yellow gold. The Griffin in antiquity it was a symbol of divine power and a guardian of the divine. This is the charm is the later one dated to 1870.

The eighth charm is a Nautilus Sea Shell handmade of 15 karat Rose Gold and set with 15 half seed pearls which are all natural ocean pearls.
Ninth charm is handmade of 15 karat yellow gold and is set with five natural ocean pearls and a hand cut and hand set natural Ruby. The leaf is an Ivy Leaf and means “Wedded Love” in the language of “Plants, Trees and Flowers” that Victorians lived by.
Tenth charm is a bow which is handmade and enameled with fired on black enameling, in the center is set a natural 2 mm seed Pearl.
This last charm and which is the eleventh charm is handmade of yellow gold and set with a 10 point single cut diamond which is hand cut and hand set into the pendant style.
This is a very rare bracelet of handmade charms, charms from this early period are very hard to find and to have eleven in one bracelet is wonderful and so unusual. The bracelet and all charms are in excellent condition and strong to wear.
