Handmade mounting of 15 karat yellow gold with nicely carved gold shoulder detail and also hand engraved. The natural garnet gemstones are hand cut and hand set. The style is called rose cut which was the most popular at this time because of the way it caught the sunlight and candle light. The two Garnet gemstones measures 1/2 carat weight each.

Two 1 mm seed pearls are set with the garnets. The ring is from the Louisville, Kentucky area and Circa 1855. The ring is presently a Size 5 1/4 and can be resized if needed. This does not diminish the value at all if the resizing is done nicely. Excellent condition.
