This wonderful item we personally purchased from a Navajo Indian. It is a showpiece; museum quality because of the very large gem quality Turquoise stone and the wonderful quality of the silver work. It is set with a handmade saw tooth bezel surrounded by a hand-twisted wirework design. On the two sides are loops that represent rain and the design of the band itself and the stamped design represent falling rain. The cuff is very heavy with the large amount of sterling silver and the large dense gem quality stone. The stone is from the Bisbee, Arizona mine. It is significant with this jewelry to know the actual mine of the turquoise. Actually, this bracelet is of greater quality in both gemstone and silver work that we saw in many museums. It is big (weighing 122 grams). The front is 3 ¼ inches tall and 2 inches wide. The band is 6 inches inside measure and 1 ¼ in gap - the bands can be bent to make the bracelet smaller or larger. This style is of bracelet is worn by men or women.
