This ring was handmade by a goldsmith of 9 karat yellow gold. The ring is set with a hand cut natural Amethyst gemstone. This color of Amethyst is called “Rose de France” or the "Rose of France” gemstone. This ring is a size 3 3/4 but could be resized smaller or larger. The circa date is 1860 and is from a collector in St Augustine, Florida. The sweet ring is in excellent condition.
