This pendant setting is handmade of 15 karat yellow gold and hand set with a natural Golden Citrine gemstone. The circa date of the pendant is 1875 and is from Columbus, Ohio. The bale has been replaced with a 10 karat bale about 50 years ago. A new 16 inch gold chain has been added also.

Bit of History Facts of Citrine Gemstones:
Citrine was used as a protective talisman against the plague, bad skin and evil thoughts, and as a charm against snake bites and other venomous reptiles. It is also believed to symbolize happiness.

This pendant is 1 ¼ inches long and ½ inches at the widest area and in fine condition to wear daily.
