Handmade gold work setting of 9 karat yellow gold and hand cut natural Amethyst gemstones make up these Civil War Era earrings. The earrings are circa 1860 and original in setting and gemstones. The Amethysts are hand cut and a soft violet color of purple. The carat weight in each earring is 1.10 carats making the total weight of gems as 2.20 carats in the earrings together.
