This ring is from York, Pennsylvania (a town close to Gettysburg, PA) and was made about the year of 1850. The setting is handmade of gold work in 15 karat. The color of the gold in this ring is yellow gold. It is set with 50 points of a carat natural Emerald which is ½ carat of Emerald. Eight natural hand cut diamonds in a rose cut are around the center Emerald. Emerald green is the color of life and of eternally returning spring.
