The pendant is crafted in 10kt white gold in which the filigree was hand stamped using a steal form. This pushed to gold closer together which made the gold very strong. The Circa date for this pendant is 1890. The pendant is marked 10 kt on the original bale and on its original white gold chain. The intricate gold work is set with a round genuine, antique cut diamond which is hand cut. The stone cutters used diamonds to cut diamonds because it was the hardest thing known at that time to use. This pendant has beautiful feminine detailing. The length of the pendant is 1 ¾ by 5/8 wide the chain is 17 inches long.
