The pendant is from Baltimore, Maryland and was originally worn on a ribbon for formal occasions. The pendant is handmade of 15 karat gold and set with 3 – 2.5 mm pearls, 9 seed pearls and 1 baroque pearl. A small .04 carat bright diamond is set with five prongs in the center of the pendant.

Diamonds mean: Forever Thine in the Language of Gems in the Victorian times. Pearls mean: Modest Loveliness in the Language of Gems.

This pendant is in excellent condition and is 1 1/2 inches tall and 1 inch wide. It comes with a new 16 inch gold chain. The pendant is strong to wear and a wonderful early Victorian original item.
