The hand cut natural emeralds are hand set around the double band. There are 20 Emeralds which makes the total carat weight of emeralds 2.80 carats of gemstone. They are nicely matched in color, which in this time period it is not to be taken for granted. Mining gemstones was very difficult and limited; stones were very hard to come by.
