The shell cameo is hand carved from a natural seashell, around the year 1850. The motif is of a Biblical figure; a woman “Rebecca at the Well”. This was a popular theme to give to girls of the Victorian time period. The cameo is set with seed pearls which are natural ocean pearls. Very nice hand carved detail. It is set in a handmade 15 karat (tested, not marked) setting of a classic style. The ring is a size 4 ring size and can be resized if needed. The shell cameo and gold work are excellent.
