This set of earrings are American made and from Lexington, Virginia. The earrings are of 9 karat yellow gold and have the original gold post wires. The backs have been replaced which were lost through the years. The antique earrings are all original Victorian Day earrings. This set of earrings is perfect and very well kept all these years. They are 1 inch from the top of the wires and ½ inch at the widest area across. The earring closer is classic for the 1850’s Victorian style, that are seen in many photos and painting. The earrings are in excellent condition and fine to wear.
